From First Conversation to First Swim
2–3 weeks from pool delivery to your first swim. Full project, from contract to final landscape detail, runs 6–10 weeks for most installations. Fiberglass installation is fast because the hard part, building the shell, happens in a controlled factory before your project even breaks ground. By the time the truck arrives at your property, the pool is complete. Our crew handles excavation, set, plumbing, electrical, deck, and water-up. Here’s what to expect at each step.

| 05 | Site preparation — Access route is mapped, lawn protected, and the work zone staged. We protect what we don’t touch. |
| 06 | Excavation — Precision dig to manufacturer specs. Spoil is hauled or graded on-site depending on the plan. |
| 07 | Pool set & plumb — The shell is craned into place, leveled, and plumbed. The equipment pad is built and connected. |
| 08 | Backfill & water-up — Pool is backfilled and filled simultaneously to keep the shell stable. First water in the pool is a milestone moment; we’ll send a photo if you’re not on-site. |
| 09 | Decking & hardscape — Concrete, paver, natural stone (travertine & sandblasted marble) or stone deck is installed using premium materials from Unilock, Cambridge, Techo-Bloc, or Oberfields, depending on the design. |

David Baumgardner founded Whispering Creek after more than two decades of high-altitude design and build work in Aspen and Vail markets where backyard environments aren’t separate from the architecture, they’re part of it. He brought that integrated approach back home to the Miami Valley in 2003.
That background shows up in how Whispering Creek projects come together. The pool, the patio, the lighting, the planting plan, the way water moves through the space… they’re drawn as one design, not stitched together by separate trades. David holds a degree in landscape architecture and is personally involved in every project before, during, and at completion.
